CHORDATES
Chordate- Chordates are animals found in the phylum Chordata. Chordates consist of animals with or without a backbone. Some other characteristics that are used to identify a Chordate are post-anal tails, dorsal nerve cord, a notochord, and more. the Chordata phylum is so large, that it is split into three subphylum, Tunciata, Cephalochordata, and Vertebrata.
Humans: The excretory system is used to remove waste from the body. Humans unlike anyother organism has a more complex system. There is more than just removing nitrogenous waste in humans than other organisms. The excretory system in humans also contains sweat. Humans have many sweat glands all over the body, most common known area is the armpit. Just like other organisms, once food is digested, the excess waste is removed from the anus. This waste is removed in a solid form, feces. The waste is formed after being digested and passing through the intestines and other organs. Urine is formed in kidneys and stored in the urinary bladder. Urine is excreted from the urethra which is at the end of the urinary tract. Humans do not need to save all the water it gets because it gets more than a sufficient amount. That is part of the reason humans sweat and urinate, so they are able to remove excess water in the body.
Dogs: the excretory of dogs is relatively the same as humans. Once their food is digested it passes down the intestines and is removed from the anus. Dogs also release nitrogenous waste the same way as humans. It is formed in their kidneys and stored in their urinary bladder. once they excrete their urine, it is passed down the urinary tract in their body. Dogs do not need to retain as much water as other organisms because it receives an efficient amount of water for it to survive without the need of saving as much necessary. That it why it is capable of removing water in its urine.
Birds: the excretory system of birds is similar to that of humans and other chordates. Their excretory organs are its gizzard, small intestine and cord. these organs can be closely related to a humans stomach, intestine, and esophagus. Birds, just like all other organisms remove its nitrogenous waste and other wastes in the body. They do this to remove unnecessary liquids and other things from the body so the birds can live a healthy life.
